For however long they're with us, it never feels like long enough. My portraits are a unique way of honouring their memory, and bringing a part of them back home.
I have been trusted with a number of memorial portraits over the years.
Some of my favourites have been created from multiple photos - either bringing an old photograph back to life, or drawing together pets who have passed away with your current family members.

AVAILABILITY & PRICES
Generally, my commission spaces are booked up to around 2 months in advance, with a busier period in the lead up to Christmas (September-December).
If you would like to order for a gift, it's best to book in ASAP to avoid disappointment - to secure your space for 2026, it is just a £25 deposit.

I'm Catrin, a professional artist from South Wales, UK.
I began teaching myself how to draw pets in 2021, wanting to create portraits of my childhood dogs.
As someone who always enjoyed art growing up, it was always a goal of mine to be able to draw realistically - learning how to create pet portraits with such intricate detail is so rewarding.
Working in pencil, I get to spend a lot of time with your pets, learning all about what makes them special. This is my favourite part of the commission process, and what allows me to create the most meaningful portraits.

WILDLIFE ARTWORK
Do you or a loved one have a favourite animal? One that reminds you of a special memory/trip or a special person perhaps.
If you have your own photos these can be great to work from, although don't worry if not as I know many wildlife photographers who allow me to use their photos as reference.
