ABOUT ME

My name is Catrin, I'm a self-taught pencil artist from South Wales, UK. I graduated in Animal Studies in 2021 and during my final year exams I started my pet portrait business.

Alongside drawing your pets, I am a dog mum to my cockapoo, Biscuit. My family and I have owned a number of pets ever since I was a child, meaning I understand that they are a huge part of the family.

My love of animals and pets, combined with my passion for drawing allows me to create the best quality portraits of your beloved pets - through careful attention to detail, I aim to create a unique, realistic portrait that you can treasure forever.

To create your portraits I use professional, artist quality materials to provide you with a high quality, lasting portrait.

For coloured portraits I use mainly Faber Castell Polychromos, along with other high quality pencils from art brands; Caran d'Ache and Derwent. For graphite portraits I use Derwent Graphic Graphite Pencils.

Portraits are completed on 300gsm, acid free paper, meaning your artwork will not discolour over time.

I aim to create custom artwork that is even more special and meaningful than any photograph.

Each drawing I create starts with a blank sheet of paper, meaning I can work with you to create the perfect portrait of your pet that may otherwise be difficult to capture in a photo.

A pet portrait is a wonderful, thoughtful gift for any occasion. They can also be a lovely way to honour your pet who may have passed away as you will always have an original piece of artwork created just for them, to cherish forever.

"This is an amazing portrait of my boy. He approves too. Thankyou so much for drawing him. I love it. If you want your pet drawn, Catrin Membery Art is amazing. Can’t wait to put it on the wall."
